The love of Christ was first shared in 1951 in Nepal. After several struggles of persecution suffered in this great nation, God was still moving in amazing ways. Since then, there are over 1 million people who have come to know the gospel, which makes it one of the fastest growing movements in the world.
After hearing and viewing the devastation an earthquake made in the capital city, God had moved our church to get actively involved in partnering with Global Mission Nepal

The vision of Global Mission Nepal is to plant one hundred gospel preaching churches in Nepal in the next ten years. The work has already begun, with currently twenty eight churches gathering for worship.
In moving towards this goal, there are three vital components that we want to be engaged in;
- church planting training
- financial support for church planting families
- leadership development
- humanitarian need in the slums

Cornerstone City Church are friends with over forty tibetan families that live and work in Norwich. They are family.
Most of the Tibetan families had lost or have no connection with their families in Tibet. We are making connection points in Nepal with IMB missionaries, that will make inroads into Tibet, hence trying to create a channel of communication. Also, there will be a huge benefit of learning Tibetan culture as well.
